Printing

Autogyro TF-G2 is mostly 3D printed. Although 3D print is very widespread today, you need to case a lot about model design, rendering and preparation of printable files (gcodes). It is important to ensure that all versions of printed models are prepared to print with the same quality.

For this purpose, we have developed our own tool - processor3D. Processor3D is a set of scripts that goes through the individual production steps and ensures sufficient quality for printing files. The procedure includes steps such as rendering of source files, generation of printing files, merging printer configurations, generating printing configuration, ...

Therefore, it is not recommended to slice the models yourself. This does not guarantee their quality and can be bad.

In order for our contributors to have access to this process (Processor3D), we have prepared a form of rewards for your contribution. You can find more about these rewards at contribution manual.
