MediHelper

This project was developed by: Maggie Falkenberg, Yvette Tran, Stacy Areas, Victor Dongxian Li, Kimarie Haverty-Bozman, and Julie Nguyen.

Overview

MediHelper is an app designed to improve the process of caretaking, and provides an easy access of medical information for doctor visits and emergencies. There is also a calendar feature that allows caretakers to track and schedule, treatments and appointments.

Installation & Run

Visit https://pacific-tor-26182.herokuapp.com/ (Login: test, Password: 1234) and enjoy the site live, online.

To run the app locally:

1. Clone or fork the repo
2. Navigate to your terminal and into the MediHelper folder.
3. In your terminal, type yarn install then cd into the client and enter yarn install again
4. Open another terminal and enter mongod. Leave this window open.
5. Back to the terminal with MediHelper, navigate to the root folder (MediHelper) and enter yarn start
6. A browser should automatically open to run the app
