What's new?

  • A Windows 11 theme has been added! It is automatically enabled on Windows 11 21H1 and later, and is available on all systems running Windows 10 1809 and later. If you don't like it, you can change it back in settings.
    • Please note the theme is still a WIP, there are some known issues I'm working to resolve as soon as possible, but I thought it was more important to get real world testing and feedback as soon as possible.
  • There's also a new Dim blue theme for those who prefer that look, also very work in progress, mostly a proof of concept.
  • Startup performance has been improved by caching moderation options.
    • Settings are still fetched on every launch but the initial load will use cached values so there may be some discrepancies, but they should clear up quickly.

Bug Fixes

  • Videos in feeds should show consistently now

Known Issues

  • Embed link detection may be a bit too eager in some cases
  • The splash screen is not theme aware when using the Sun Valley theme in light mode

What's new?

  • Replies in threads now show correctly so you don't have to constantly click to see every post in a thread.
  • Option to remove videos from feeds and open them in a popout window when clicked like images
  • Improved the image quality of uploaded images, especially when using the HEIF codec.
  • Reply gating is now respected and you won't be able to reply to posts you aren't allowed to reply to.
  • An option has been added to show feedContexts on posts in feeds if they're included by the feed you're viewing. This is particularly relevant to the Discover feed and indicates why a post was shown to you.
  • Updated Polish translation

Bug Fixes

  • Many bugs have been fixed surrounding the virtual keyboard and the post sheet.
  • Non-bsky.social PDSes should now function properly, did:web hasn't been tested yet though.

Known Issues

  • Embed link detection may be a bit too eager in some cases

What's new?

  • ⚠️Hotfix for certain feeds not loading correctly if a reply referenced a blocked or missing post
  • The app's navigation model has changed! No longer is there one stack of pages documenting everywhere you've been, now we have actual tabs and a navigation stack per tab. State is now better preserved between tabs, and you won't end up with huge navigation stacks after a bit of use.
  • The app now has an extended splash screen on launch while it refreshes your token and configures moderation, this should only take a fraction of a second and makes startup a bit less jarring.
  • You can now tap the bottom tab buttons to scroll to the top of your feeds.
  • We're in the Microsoft Store now! Somewhat unexpected and not currently up to date due to Christmas certification delays, however if you're okay with slightly slower updates that happen automatically, check it out!
  • GitHub versions have been updated to match Microsoft Store versions and the app package version

Bug Fixes

  • Window placement should once again be more reliable on high DPI displays

Known Issues

  • Embed link detection may be a bit too eager in some cases

What's new?

  • New icon! Designed by @xubiod, no longer just yoinking Bluesky's official brand assets. You'll see this on socials and in the store soon!
  • Moderation features are fairly completely implemented now, there's some bits missing that will get patched in over time but the core is there. Notably:
    • Labels from subscribed labellers will now appear on profiles and posts
    • Labellers that hide content will now function correctly on posts, embeds, in search and notifications
    • Labellers that hide avatars, banners and display names now function
    • Blocks and mutes (especially with lists) now also works more reliably
    • Hidden posts, muted words and subscribed labellers now sync from the official Bluesky client, but are not currently configurable in Unisky
  • Facets now work in posts sent from Unisky! This includes links, mentions and tags.
    • There is a generator for embed cards included in the app now that runs locally on your device
    • These embed cards include a small Unisky watermark to indicate where they originated, as the Bluesky service offers no way to validate the source of these embeds otherwise
  • We're in the Microsoft Store now! Somewhat unexpected and not currently up to date due to Christmas certification delays, however if you're okay with slightly slower updates that happen automatically, check it out!
  • GitHub versions have been updated to match Microsoft Store versions and the app package version

Bug Fixes

  • Session refresh should be a bit more reliable now, still not perfect though
  • Window placement should be more reliable on high DPI displays

Known Issues

  • Embed link detection may be a bit too eager in some cases
