## Installation
To set up the AI-Powered Interview Assistant, follow these steps:
1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/ai-interview-assistant.git cd ai-interview-assistant
2. Install Python dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
3. Install Node.js dependencies:
npm install
4. Set up environment variables (see [Environment Variables](#environment-variables) section)
5. Start the Flask backend:
python app.py
6. In a new terminal, start the React frontend:
npm start
## Usage
1. Open a web browser and navigate to `http://localhost:3000`
2. Fill out the candidate information form
3. Upload a resume
4. Select a job position
5. Start the AI-driven interview
6. Complete the interview process
7. Review the AI-generated evaluation and insights
## Environment Variables
Create a `.env` file in the root directory with the following variables:
REACT_APP_ASSISTANT_WEBHOOK_URL=https://your-webhook-url.com REACT_APP_VAPI_API_KEY=your_vapi_api_key OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key
Make sure to replace the placeholder values with your actual API keys and webhook URL.
