##Welcome to the K-9 Mail wiki!

We're in the process of switching the wiki from Google Code to github. The old wiki is here.

K-9 Mail is an open source email client focused on making it easy to chew through large volumes of email.

##Contributing to K9 Mail

Patches, bug reports, and questions (via email or chat) are always welcome. If you feel like contributing financially, please make a donation to the local SPCA, or buy Kaiten Mail from the market.

  • ReleaseNotes describes changes in each version of K-9 Mail
  • BuildingK9 describes how to build the project
  • Manual contains the beginnings of a user manual.
  • GitGuide describes how to set up and use Git and GitHub for K-9 (has some useful information even if you're familiar with GitHub)

This summer, we have four students working on K-9 full time through Google's Summer of Code program. GSoC 2011 Projects will tell you a bit more about those projects

A number of other projects are BasedOnK9, and lots of other software Works With K-9.
