The current website of UIET (University Institute of Engineering and Technology) lacks modern design standards, optimal performance, and accessibility compliance. Users face difficulties due to outdated UI, slow load times, and poor responsiveness across devices. This project aims to overhaul the website with a modern, fast, accessible, and user-centric design while aligning with current web standards and best practices.
A well-designed digital presence is essential for any academic institution. By revamping UIET’s website, we aim to:
- Modernize its visual and functional design.
- Enhance usability for students, faculty, and visitors.
- Apply real-world web development practices to deliver a professional-grade product.
- Provide a scalable and maintainable website that reflects the academic and research excellence of UIET.
- Fully responsive and performant website, aligned with modern UI/UX principles.
- Enhanced SEO and accessibility, following Core Web Vitals and W3C standards.
- Continuous feedback loop with mentors to refine design and implementation.
- Final deployment on Netlify or Vercel for seamless hosting.
- Complete documentation for maintainability and future scalability.
