An application that can work both online and offline (once the website is loaded on the browser) on the Kannada Transliterate website.
Application can run on any type of device : Mobile, Tablet, Desktops and Laptops
on operating systems like Android, Apple iOS, Apple Mac, Microsoft Windows and Linux
on browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Opera and Brave
.
The application completes transliteration of texts pasted or typed into the text area from Kannada ಕನ್ನಡ (kannaḍa) script to Latin script based on ISO 15919 transliteration and from Latin script based on IAST or ISO 15919 to Kannada ಕನ್ನಡ (kannaḍa) script. The ISO 15919
has non-strict and strict nasalisation versions of anusvāra transliteration that is made available with this application.
The languages Kannada (ಕನ್ನಡ), Sanskrit (ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ), Tulu (ತುಳು), Kodava (ಕೊದವ), Badaga (ಬಡಗ), Beary/Byari (ಬ್ಯಾರಿ), Sankethi/Sanketi (ಸಂಕೆತಿ), Konkani (ಕೋಂಕೀ), Marathi (ಮರಾಠೀ)
written in Kannada ಕನ್ನಡ (kannaḍa) script are supported with this application.
- To change the transliteration direction i.e. to switch between Latin or Kannada, click the swap icon
- To copy the contents of the either Latin or Kannada text areas click the copy content icon
- To execute the transliteration from Latin written in IAST standard to Kannada or vice versa, click the
