The 10m resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM) dataset of Rwanda was prepared by the National Land Authority (NLA), and the dataset was provided from WASAC, Ltd., Rwanda.

The original data was provided through WASAC, and hosted at UNDP GeoHub. The original 10m DEM data can be accessed at https://geohub.data.undp.org/data/00d5add9be37e465398b081683c3ec03

However, the original data has outliers in the north-west part of Rwanda, and it is missing a small part of south-west of the country. The hosted data was cleaned to remove outliers in the north-west part by EMD and Wind PRO. The metadata of cleaned DEM is described at Wind PRO (Rwanda Elevation Model).

How to access DEM data

The data is hosted at CloudFlare R2 and it can be accessed through the below URL.
