Release Notes for CelSeq Sample Sheet Generator Migration

We are excited to announce the latest release of our CelSeq Sample Sheet Generator, now migrated and enhanced with Shiny/R capabilities. This update marks a significant transformation from our previous Python Flask application to a more interactive and user-friendly Shiny/R web application. The migration process was meticulously carried out to ensure that the core functionalities are not only retained but also improved upon for better user experience and efficiency.

New Features and Enhancements:

  • Folder Upload Support: Users can now easily upload a folder containing all the required files for their experiment. This includes the plate layout sheet, template sheet, primer index sheet (optional), and FCS files. This feature streamlines the process, making it more convenient and less time-consuming.

  • Experiment Results Preview: Before committing to downloading the final output, users have the opportunity to preview the experiment results. This allows for a thorough review, ensuring that everything is in order and meets the user's expectations.

  • Advanced Search and Filtering: In response to user feedback, we've implemented an advanced search and filtering feature. Users can now observe the final output by searching or filtering across different fields, making it easier to locate specific results or datasets.

  • Migration to Shiny/R: The migration to Shiny/R from Python Flask represents a significant enhancement in our application's usability and interactivity. Shiny/R allows for a more dynamic and responsive user interface, enabling users to interact with their data in real-time.
