Architecture

Core Components

1. Flux Matrix Engine (flux_matrix.rs)

The foundational pattern engine that creates and manages semantic matrices:

  • 10-Position Matrix: Positions 0-9 with direct digit-to-position mapping

    • Position 0: Neutral center/void
    • Positions 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8: Regular semantic nodes
    • Positions 3, 6, 9: Sacred guides (geometric anchors)
  • Base Flux Pattern: [1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1] - The doubling sequence with digit reduction

  • Sacred Anchors: Unmanifest orbital centers (NOT data storage, but regulatory functions)

    • Position 3: "Creative Trinity" - First orbital anchor, judgment intersection
    • Position 6: "Harmonic Balance" - Central anchor, perfect symmetry point
    • Position 9: "Completion Cycle" - Final anchor, loop gateway
    • Key: Information ORBITS around these positions; they don't hold data but apply judgment
    • Function: Evaluate entropy and can reverse flow direction (bi-directional loops)
  • Subject-Specific Matrices: Each knowledge domain (Physics, AI, etc.) has custom node definitions

Example - Physics Matrix:

Position 0: [Void/Center]
Position 1: Object
Position 2: Forces
Position 3: [Sacred Guide] Law
Position 4: Value
Position 5: Unit
Position 6: [Sacred Guide] Anti-Matter
Position 7: Assembly
Position 8: Constraints
Position 9: [Sacred Guide] Material

2. Inference Engine (inference_engine.rs)

Processes seed numbers through the flux matrix to generate semantic inferences:

Forward Reasoning Process:

  1. Accept target meanings/words
  2. Search matrix positions containing those meanings
  3. Generate candidate seed numbers that activate those positions
  4. Return ranked list of potential seeds

Reverse Reasoning Process:

  1. Convert seed number to digit sequence (e.g., 888 β†’ [8, 8, 8])
  2. Map each digit directly to matrix position
  3. Extract semantic associations from activated positions
  4. Calculate confidence scores and moral alignment
  5. Return inferred meanings with contextual relevance

Features:

  • Subject filtering (Specific, Category, GeneralIntelligence, All)
  • Configurable processing options (synonyms, antonyms, confidence thresholds)
  • Moral alignment detection (Constructive/Destructive/Neutral)
  • Caching for performance optimization

3. Semantic Associations

Each matrix position contains:

  • Neutral Base: Primary concept name
  • Positive Associations: Synonyms and constructive meanings (index +1 to +∞, "Heaven")
  • Negative Associations: Antonyms and destructive meanings (index -1 to -∞, "Hell")
  • Confidence Scores: AI/ML-generated relevance weights (0.0 to 1.0)
  • Context: Subject domain and relationship type

4. Subject Generator (subject_generator.rs)

AI-powered tool for dynamically creating new subject domains:

  • Uses AI integration to design subject-specific node structures
  • Generates Rust module files with subject definitions
  • Automatically updates module registry

    9,     // Flux position
    ELPChannels::new(8.5, 8.0, 7.0)
);
// Result: 12-byte hash with embedded metadata

Step 2: Inference Processing

let input = InferenceInput {
    compression_hashes: vec![hash.to_hex()],
    seed_numbers: vec![],  // Legacy method
    subject_filter: SubjectFilter::All,
    processing_options: ProcessingOptions {
        include_synonyms: true,
        confidence_threshold: 0.5,
        use_sacred_guides: true,
        // ...
    },
};

let result = engine.process_inference(input).await?;

Step 3: Sacred Position Judgment Position 9 is sacred anchor β†’ flow judgment occurs:

  • If entropy < threshold: Allow flow, reduce entropy by 15%
  • If entropy > threshold: Reverse flow direction (loop back)
  • Orbital dynamics applied around anchor point

Step 4: Result

{
  "hash_metadata": [{
    "hash_hex": "a3f7c29e8b4d1506f2a8",
    "flux_position": 9,
    "elp_channels": {"ethos": 8.5, "logos": 8.0, "pathos": 7.0},
    "is_sacred": true,
    "confidence": 0.97
  }],
  "inferred_meanings": [...],
  "confidence_score": 0.92
}

Example 2: Processing Seed Number 888 (Legacy Method)

Step 1: Seed to Flux Sequence

Input: 888
Digit sequence: [8, 8, 8]

Step 2: Position Mapping Each digit maps directly to its matrix position:

Digit 8 β†’ Position 8 (all three activations)

Step 3: Semantic Extraction Position 8 in Physics matrix = "Constraints"

  • Positive associations: "boundaries", "limits", "structure" (Constructive)
  • Negative associations: "restriction", "confinement" (Destructive)

Step 4: Inference Result

{
  "inference_id": "...",
  "inferred_meanings": [
    {
      "subject": "Physics",
      "node_position": 8,
      "primary_meaning": "Constraints",
      "semantic_associations": [
        {"word": "boundaries", "index": 1, "confidence": 0.92},
        {"word": "limits", "index": 2, "confidence": 0.88}
      ],
      "contextual_relevance": 0.85,
      "moral_alignment": "Constructive(2.5)"
    }
  ],
  "confidence_score": 0.85,
  "processing_time_ms": 2
}

Sacred Geometry Integration

Sacred positions (3, 6, 9) are unmanifest anchors - not data storage, but orbital centers:

Example: Seed 369

3 β†’ Sacred Anchor: "Creative Trinity" (orbital center, judgment point)
6 β†’ Sacred Anchor: "Harmonic Balance" (central anchor, symmetry)
9 β†’ Sacred Anchor: "Completion Cycle" (loop gateway, reversal point)

Flow Pattern: Information ORBITS around these positions
Judgment: At each anchor, entropy evaluated β†’ allow, reverse, or stabilize
Result: Stable orbital dynamics, entropy regulation

Sacred anchors provide:

  • Orbital Centers: All information flows orbit around them
  • Judgment Functions: Evaluate entropy and redirect flow
  • Bi-Directional Control: Can reverse flow direction (forward ⟷ backward)
  • Unmanifest Nature: Don't hold data, only apply functions

See SACRED_POSITIONS.md for detailed explanation.

ML Inference Options

SpatialVortex supports two ONNX inference backends:

tract (Default - Recommended for Windows)

βœ… Pure Rust - No C++ dependencies
βœ… Windows Compatible - No CRT linking issues
βœ… Cross-Platform - Works on Windows/Linux/macOS
βœ… Good Performance - ~10ms inference (10-20% slower than ONNX Runtime)

# Default build uses tract
cargo build --release

ONNX Runtime (Best Performance - Linux/WSL Only)

⚑ Fastest - Industry standard performance
⚠️ C++ Dependencies - Requires ONNX Runtime C++ libraries
❌ Windows Issues - CRT linking conflicts

# Linux/WSL only
cargo build --release --features onnx --no-default-features

See INFERENCE_ENGINE_COMPARISON.md for detailed comparison.

Theory & Background

SpatialVortex is inspired by:

  • Sacred Geometry: Tesla's 3-6-9 principle and geometric patterns
  • Semantic Networks: Knowledge representation through associations
  • Symbolic AI: Rule-based reasoning with pattern matching
  • Flux Theory: Energy flow and transformation through structured pathways

The system demonstrates how numerical patterns can serve as keys to unlock contextual meanings within structured knowledge domains, enabling both synthetic (forward: meanings→seeds) and analytical (reverse: seeds→meanings) reasoning.
