Reflection

In the first week I was a little bit confused as to what the project was about. I didn't know whether we are to make graph or just an interactive product. After few days I got to understand what the project is really about and what the requirements are. I didn't really like the fact that we had to suddenly come to school at 9:20. It was difficult for me to get used to. I know the world doesn't revolve around me😿. The sudden change of the rooster was difficult to adjust but I did my best to attend to the class. I also liked the fact that we had two days free to work independently on our work. These days helped me to work more on my project.

The lecturers we had for this project were enough but at the same time it seemed they weren't enough. During Blok-tech, not only did we get help from the lecturers but also from the students. We helped each other and there was even an open forum in teams for questions. Blok tech was a difficult project but with the much help we were offered in many ways it made it fun and easier to go about it, but this project was different. We only got help from the lecturers making it difficult for all of them to attend to us at once.

During this project I did learn a lot but sadly I couldn't implement a lot in my project. I wanted to implement some topics I learned myself and also topic that were been taught in the class in my project but didn't get enough time to do it. I'm just glad I could take notes of these topics in my wiki.

This project made me understand some of the syllabus that were been taught in Blok tech better and for that i am very grateful. Especially about api and how to use them and fetch them.

Using force layout for my bubble chart made it difficult for me to add more styling to my work. I couldn't really give a style to my chart especially the position of the bubble chart when it is been filtered. I also wanted to do more with gsap but because i used a force simulation method for my chart it was difficult to animate the chart.

In all I will say this project thought me a lot and levelled up my knowledge in JavaScript. I got to know and experience with different libraries. The lecturers were also helpful and try as much as possible to help me through this journey. I enjoyed this project 😃.
