Bike Share USA - Horizontal Expansion Regession Model 🚴♂️
In my neighborhood, I noticed the lack of bike sharing options and became motivated to find a solution. The objective of my project was to develop a model that could predict the optimal number of bike share stations to be added in zip codes surrounding existing bike stations, with the goal of expanding the network horizontally into new areas. This model serves as a useful guide to inform decision-making in future expansion efforts. In this project, I created a database logical model and implemented it in AWS RDS. I also performed ETL jobs to transfer 68GB of data that had been cleaned and organized from 5 different S3 buckets. Finally, I used this data to conduct detailed analytics and develop the regression model.

The Subway Challenge - World Record Route Generator 🚄
In this project, the objective was to solve the logistical challenge of visiting all 472 stations on the MTA Subway line. To accomplish this, I utilized graph theory and developed over 1500+ possible paths to set a world record in the Subway Challenge and potentially secure a spot in the Guinness World Records. In this project, I created a graph network to represent the subway map, then adapted an existing Python package to suit my needs. I also added an SQLite database to the program to store the data generated from this process.
