I don't know if you wanted any code for my error on Debian, and you prob don't but just in case, for Debian 10 (Buster) here it is: |

Just installed using Debian 10.8.0 following the instructions in the README, everything works just fine. I was able to replicate the issue by uninstalling |

Just ran it on Debian 11 with XFCE. Seems to be working, though I imagine this bug was field for Debian 10 |
- Change python packaging method following instructions from https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/tutorials/packaging-projects - Remove scripts as they can be created automatically from setup.cfg - move the sources to src - setup.py: remove captialization in package names, conflicts with other packaging methods like debian's - modify licence to gpl3+ - Add setup.cfg and pyproject.toml - modify MANIFEST.in to include assets - WoeUSB-ng.desktop: add version and change icon; fixes WoeUSB#11

Gnome on some distributions appears to not work well with GUI's started as root. I don't have an solution for this outside of redesigning how GUI interfaces with core. For now you can try to use KDE or other DE, or just use terminal, there it should work well.
