Releases: XXCoreRangerX/Hackintosh-HP-EliteBook-840-G4
1.2.1
1.2.0
The long awaited update is finally here!
I know, it's been a long time. Due to everything that's been happening recently I've really gotten inactive on GitHub. Now, I'm uploading this EFI, which has been tested on the latest version of macOS on my laptop, and I'm hoping I'll manage to keep updating it systematically, as soon as the new OpenCore version is released.
As always, don't just expect to unpack the EFI and have it all working without doing anything. Remember to change your serial numbers, OpenCanopy configuration, ApECID and everything. Read up the docs again and check out the changelog so you don't miss anything. If there's any problems, let me know by creating an issue.
Changes:
- Updated to OpenCore 0.8.1
- macOS Monterey is now supported
- Disabled battery patching SSDTs (patching is now done with ECEnabler kext)
- Trackpoint is fully working (along with trackpad upper buttons)
1.1.5
- Update to OpenCore 0.7.0
1.1.4
- Removed useless BIOS version patch
- Disabled GlobalConnect
1.1.3
- Improved USB-C support
- Fixed Wi-Fi button (LED still not working)
1.1.2: Fix USB-C and remove fingerprint scanner entry
- Fixed USB-C
- Removed Fingerprint scanner from the USB map
Note: Removing fingerprint scanner from the map won't break it under other OS than macOS. If you want to keep using it on other systems, you can have it enabled in the BIOS and it will work. The USB map is only meant for macOS and doesn't have impact on other systems.
1.1.1
- Fixed keyboard on non-touch EliteBooks, using VoodooInput from acidanthera as main now
1.1.0
- Removed SMCSuperIO, because it doesn't work
- Assigned Play/Pause function to FN+F10 key combination
1.0.0
