Getting Started with Compute - Clone Virtual Machine to a new region - in Java

Azure Compute sample for managing virtual machines -

  • Create an managed virtual machine from PIR image with data disks
  • Create incremental snapshot from the virtual machine's OS and data disks
  • Copy incremental snapshots to the new region
  • Create managed disks from the snapshots of the new region
  • Create virtual machine by attaching the managed disks

Running this Sample

To run this sample:

See DefaultAzureCredential and prepare the authentication works best for you. For more details on authentication, please refer to AUTH.md.

cd compute-java-clone-virtual-machine-to-new-region.git

mvn clean compile exec:java
