This wiki for the Apache Guacamole Installation Script for RHEL 7 and CentOS 7 will provide documentation and information to help get a complete Guacamole server setup. It's important that all of this information is reviewed prior to attempting to use the script. Failing to do so could lead to problems, aggravation and lost time.
My goal with the Apache Guacamole install script is to offer a simple, guided and semi-automated way of installing Apache Guacamole on a clean RHEL 7 or CentOS 7 server. I hope that over time with input, suggestions and contributions from the community it will become the go-to tool for setting up new Apache Guacamole installations on RHEL and CentOS servers. The Apache Guacamole Install Script Wiki will be divided into 6 overall categories:
- Script Information - Provide an understanding of how the Apache Guacamole installation script works including: precautions, what features the script offers and my plans for the script.
- Installation - Contains information on installation requirements, how logging & errors are handled and step-by-step installation directions for installation.
- Primary Authentication - Details for each currently supported primary authentication method the script can install/configure.
- Secondary Authentication - Information for optional, currently supported two factor authentication (2FA) options.
- Options - Topics related to settings and features implemented by the script which may or may not be optional and/or set by the user.
- Help - Information on known issues with the script, troubleshooting & testing information, how to report issues and resources for additional information or help.
I am open to input and suggestions on how to improve this Guacamole install script and the documentation. If you have suggestions or need help please review the How to report Issues wiki page and file an issue using the template that best matches.
Thank you
