The List

This list on the left shows the parsed packet data by entries. The are color-coded as defined in Program Settings. Each of the Tab Pages on the left represent one open project or log file. Each line shows the following

  • It's time-stamp
  • Packet Direction with arrows
  • If it is inside the currently opened video file's region (will show a filmstrip icon if it is).
  • The Packet ID preceded by the direction (e.g.: IN 0x00E)
  • Name of the packet if it's defined, otherwise it will show ???

Popup Menu

When you right-click on a packet entry of the list, you will get a popup-menu allowing you to do various actions related to the currently selected packet.

Packet Name

The first item just shows the current Packet Name and does not do anything when clicked

Show this type only

Filters the list to show only the current packet id type in the list. Shift-Click to Highlight instead of filter.

Hide this type

Filters the list to hide all packet with the same packet id type in the list. Shift-Click to Highlight the others instead of filter.

Only show Outgoing / Incoming

Filters the list to only show outgoing or incoming packets. Shift-Click to Highlight them instead of filter.

Reset all filters

Resets all Filters to be off

Edit packet parser

Click this to edit the current PacketId's parsing rules for this engine
