Overall Idea for my multiplayer level has been thought about and is in progress. Now it about time to start creating the level. Some of the challenges that I will be facing is how to make the level good. For one thing I know I have to make sure that everything on the level is functional and has no errors even the littlest of errors can mess up my map.

The Game Map has been made for the overall design of my level. There will a max of 4 players that will be able to play this level. First I need to start making the map on TrenchBroom. But I have to ask myself. How will I make this map? As I want to have two floors in my level.

Quake Map in production starting to create the overall design of the map. I have to make sure that the map is large enough for at most 4 players. And I also have to make another floor for my level. And also to add the spawn points to my level as well.

Quake Map Part 1 completed. The over design is finished and it's currently playable and in my Quake level GitHub. I actually made a top floor for my multiplayer level. Reminder this is not finished this is just you players can play test the level so so how the overall layout of the level will be. One of the Challenges that I had to overcome was making the another floor on the map as it was something new I've done and it was a success.

Overall design of the Quake Deathmatch level is complete. Now what I have to later is to add more weapon and pick up items and texture to the map itself. The main challenge that I had to face was to make sure my top floor was together. As this is my first time that I made an extra floor in a level. But it became a success.

Here's the link to my Quake map overview video below. This is a walkthrough of how the level is going to be.

The feed back that I got was overall really good but a few said that the map was simple. And the player were getting killed right after they spawn. And how one spawn point was not working properly. Turned out that the spawn point of the map was not on the floor but in the the air connected to a empty space. So I one the main task that I have to do is make sure that the spawn pointer they are referring to is fixed.
Also the play test show that when they spawn the died quickly.

The spawn point is fixed. The map texture in my level has been added. Now to added the items to my level. And added more detail to make the map less simpler as players have said the map look plain. There wasn't a lot of detail to the map with is evidence that the map was really plain. At end of doing the tasks for my level I had a little more time and decided to add some texture to my level. I also added the other weapons and the health and armor packs.

The ammo and other items has been added to my level as there were no items in the first version of my level. I also added more spawn points to give the players more variety of areas to spawn in. As you noticed in the images that there are a little more structural detail in the level as well as I wanted to make the level more like some old place underground. More details has been added as example of these two comparison screenshot of a certain area of the map. So far the multiplayer level is really going well and I hope it continues as I want the make the level the best it can be. Now all I have to do is add the finalized textures and lighting.

The results for the enjoyment of the map was really good as play testers like it very well. The result from the second playtest was more improved than the first play test as the playtesters form the first play test said that the level was really plain. I don't really need to make adjustments to the level since there was a lot of improvement of the map but I will add more detail to the map.
(10/31/2020)
This data here show that people like the overall level design better during playtest 2 than how to was in playtest 1. So Now what want to do I do is to add more textures and other details for the map.
(10/31/2020)
This is one of the area that I've textured and lit. I wanted to make it where it's and old temple ruin where there was a lot of crazy stuff happening in the and some evil face that is supposedly alive when you go in the area. I wanted to have an area that was still active after some time. Especially when you go around the level you will see a lot of hieroglyphics in other areas around the map.

Overall I had a fun experience making a multiplayer map. It was very challenging but fun. And I have high hopes that I will make more levels and make them even better.
