📖 ExpenseWatch

This is a mobile forecast web application for your finances where you can manage your budget: you have a list of transactions associated with a category, so that you can see how much money you spent and on what.

💻 Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps.

Prerequisites

In order to run this project you need:

• Ruby
• Ruby on Rails
• Terminal basics
• Git & github

Setup

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

• Click on the green button on the top right corner with the text code
• Click on SSH
• Copy the text that appears below
• Type "git clone" in your terminal and past the copied text next to "git clone" and press enter

Install

Once the project is on your system

Install this project with:

• Inside the terminal of your editor run 'bundle install'
• Navigate to the database.yml file and change the username to the owner of your psql database
• Run 'rails db:migrate'

Usage

• Show the list of posts and empower readers to interact with them by adding comments and liking posts.
