SynergySphere - Project Management System

SynergySphere is a modern, full-stack project management system built with FastAPI and Next.js. It provides a robust platform for team collaboration, task management, and project tracking.

📝 Prerequisites

  • Python 3.11 or higher
  • Node.js 18 or higher
  • PostgreSQL 12 or higher
  • pnpm package manager

🚦 Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/adwyte/Odoo-SynergySphere.git
    cd Odoo-SynergySphere
  2. Set up the backend

    cd src/backend
    python -m venv .venv
    source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use: .venv\Scripts\activate
    pip install -e .
  3. Configure the database

    # Create a .env file in the root directory with:
    DATABASE_URL=postgresql://postgres:sanskar@localhost:5432/synergy_db
    ENV=dev
    SECRET_KEY=your-secret-key
    ACCESS_TOKEN_EXPIRE_MINUTES=60
  4. Run database migrations

    alembic upgrade head
  5. Start the backend server

    uvicorn app.main:app --reload
  6. Set up the frontend

    cd src/frontend
    pnpm install
    pnpm dev
