The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost all spheres of life. The spread of coronavirus and governmental actions taken to fight the disease affect the socio-economic situation of the country. This paper addresses the impact of the pandemic on the mobility of residents and the occurrence of traffic incidents in Warsaw. The analysis was conducted using statistical and econometric methods. The results indicate a strong correlation between COVID-19 and mobility of Warsaw citizens, while the relationship between the disease and traffic incidents is ambiguous.
Data cleansing, creating smaller databases was created using Jupyter Notebooks. OLS model, correlation analysis, graphs were created using R language.
