Protests

Players may protest an incorrect buzz or judgment of a bonus answer.

Protesting a tossup

1. Click on the word the player buzzed on. The reader should have judged it as Wrong before.
2. Find the player and highlight over it.
3. Click on the "Protest" item below "Wrong"
4. A dialog will appear. Fill in the answer and reason for the protest in the Reason text box.
5. Click OK. The protest is now logged.

Protesting a bonus

1. In the menu at the top, click on Actions... | Protest bonus
2. A dialog will appear. Choose the bonus part the team is protesting, and provide the answer and reason for the protest in the Reason text box.
3. Click OK. The protest is now logged.

Removing a protest

To remove a protest, find it's event in the event viewer (to the right of the question viewer), and click on the red X next to it.

If it is a tossup protest, you can also click on the word the player buzzed in, find the player in the menu, and click on "Protest" again.
