WMMN 613-Interactive Design for the Web Course Final Project

This is a simple UX/UI project created with Adobe XD. Project simulates a website where users can find detailed information about primary schools. The project was inspired by the various difficulties a real user had in finding a good primary school for his daughter. In general, it is important for parents to conduct thorough research and evaluate a range of factors when deciding on a school for their child. This can include information about the school's academic performance, extracurricular activities, and other programs and amenities offered, as well as parent reviews and other sources of information. By considering a variety of factors and using data to make informed decisions, parents can ensure that their child receives the best possible education.
The final product in this project can be useful to meet this demand.

App Functionality

• Sign Up, Sign In, Lost Password and Reset Password pages and functionalities are created.
• Primary schools can be searched using a City/Zip/District input.
• Schoools found within the given location are displayed on the map.
• Map can be scrolled both horizontally and vertically.
• School are displayed on the school cards.
• Every school card has an image slider, schools address, student number, overall score and recent ranking.
• Every school on the card can be saved using the save icon.
• Saved school can be accessed through Favorites page.
• Every school on the card can be compared to other schools using the compare icon.
• Schools can be compared up to three schools on the Compare page.
• Detailed school search can be made using advanced filter button.
• Schools can be filtered based overall score, parent score, neighborhood rating and many more.
• All the schools can be accessed through Schools page and can be filtered by school type.
• School names are randomy picked.
• Information used on the schools are purely for demonstration purposes and has no real value.
• Competitive Analysis is made prior design process.
• User Persona, Style tile, Moodboard and User Story are designed.
• Interviews and Usability Testings are performed with three different users.
• Additional functionalities are created after Usability Testings.
• Changes on the user interface are made after Usability Testings.
