This project demonstrates how Computer Vision (CV) can be leveraged to enhance visually assisted referee systems in sports like pickleball. By using real-time object detection and pose estimation, PiServe can accurately track the ball and player movements, ensuring compliance with serve regulations. This technology has the potential to reduce human error, improve game fairness, and provide instant feedback to players and referees. As CV continues to evolve, its applications in sports officiating and training will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of competitive events.
