Executable::Sample

実行可能ファイルを含む gem のサンプル

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'executable-sample'

And then execute:

$ bundle install --binstubs

Usage

$ ./bin/executable-sample

つくりかた

lib/executable-sample.rb 以下に、通常の gem と同様、コードを追加

bin ディレクトリを作ってその下に実行可能な ruby コードを追加

bundle install に --binstubs を追加すると実行したディレクトリに bin ディレクトリが出来る

sh ファイルにする

#!/bin/bash
export PATH=$HOME/.rbenv/shims:$HOME/.rbenv/bin:$PATH
cd /path/to/bundle/dir
./bin/executable-sample

cron 等、 rbenv にパスが通っていない場合にシステムの ruby (多分 1.8 とか) が使用されてエラーになる
まず PATH の設定を行い、更に rbenv local で .ruby-version ファイルを作成したディレクトリに cd した後、実行

gem をインストールしたディレクトリのパスを含める必要があるので、 gem に含めるのは難しい
し、 gem に含まれている sh にアクセスするのが結構たいへん
