Mobile App test with Monkeyrunner

With :

• Android Studio 3.5.0
• GenyMotion Samsung Galaxy API 16
• GenyMotin Motorola Xoom Tablet API 16

Test Monkeyrunner

• Open location directory of monkeyrunner file. "C:\Users*YourPcName*\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\tools\bin".
• Open CMD and move to directory monkeyrunner.
• Type "monkeyrunner" and enter.

If your monkeyrunner is working, it should appear the following message

if it is not working, it will display the following error message

How to fix issue

• Download file from https://bit.ly/2CCql0F
• Open "C:\Users*YourPcName*\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk".
• Backup and Remove tools folder
• Make new tools folder.
• Extract file into new tools folder. and run again

- Only Android Studio 3.5.0

Run :

• Open location directory of monkeyrunner file. "C:\Users*YourPcName*\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\tools\bin".
• Put Monkeyrunner script file in Monkeyrunner directory.
• Open Genymotion and run a device.
• Open CMD and move to directory monkeyrunner.
• Type "monkeyrunner script.py" and enter.
• Wait until done

Note :

• Don't forget to change script to your app.
