Hi there! I'm Aum Soni, a curious and hands-on software developer based in Toronto, currently in my Honours Bachelor’s degree in Software Development at Seneca Polytechnic.
I began my journey with a 3-year diploma in Computer Programming and Analysis, where I was introduced to full-stack development. Since then, I’ve had the chance to work on real projects through three co-op terms - building accessible web forms at an Ontario Ministry, creating a proof-of-concept login flow at Canada Post, and most recently, strengthening automated testing frameworks as a Junior Technical Analyst with the Ministry of Transportation.
I enjoy working with Angular, React, Next.js, and Spring Boot, along with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. What I value most is the process of solving problems, learning along the way, and building things that are both useful and reliable.
These days, I’m exploring real-time collaboration tools, improving my skills with Next.js 14+, and continuing to sharpen my fundamentals in data structures and algorithms. I’m also involved in my college’s dev club, where I get to learn from peers and contribute to small projects.
Thanks for visiting my profile and I am always happy to connect, learn, and collaborate!
