use node 14.x, and few other changes to run the app locally

I could get the app running locally with node 14.x and few other changes

Hi! I may be doing this incorrectly, I've installed node 14 and installed all of the packages using npm.
When running coffee app.coffee I get the error 500 Error: [LessEngine] FileError: 'bootstrap/less/utilities.less' wasn't found
Am I running the wrong thing? Apologies if it's a simple fix, I'm very new to node.
Thank you very much for your fixing of the app.

EDIT: I figured it out, I just had to run npm build within the folder the project was contained.
