Awesome; thanks! I pulled this into the local branch and opened a new PR in #37 to compare with master. FWIW: I had to do a little fiddling to remove the *.pyc files from your commits. You might want to add that pattern to your local gitignore file. |

This branch allows audioread to decode compressed audio from memory as well as from a file. Right now, support for compressed audio is only provided in ffdec.py.
