WeMo Insight Switch

Installation Steps:

1. Download and Install WeMo App.

2. Plug the the WeMo Device into AC Outlet.

3. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is ON and the WeMo plug is located within the Wi-Fi range.

4. Go to Setting in your smartphone/tablet, then select Wifi and then connect to WeMo network. It should be something similar to WeMo.Switch.xxx.

5. Launch the WeMo App then change the device name and settings if needed then proceed.

6. Open Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone/tablet, and connect to your Wi-Fi network (Instead of the WeMo network).

   Note: For added security, WeMo recommends the use of a password protected WiFi network when setting up the WeMo device.

7. Launch the WeMo App. Check the existing WeMo devices. Check if you can switch the WeMo smart plug ON and OFF from your smartphone/tablet.

Congratulations! Now you have successfully configured your WeMo device to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
