Important info

  • The platform uses Keystatic as a CMS
  • Keystatic works with Markdoc files. Anything you write in a blog post gets converted into Markdoc
  • Keystatic uses GitHub to reflect changes you make, which means that every document Save you do, a new commit on GitHub will be created. Keep this in mind and try to group your changes under one Save for efficiency and to avoid hitting any limits, which might be present on a hosting platform

Posts

  • HTML is allowed in the body of a Post. Make sure you don't upload any malware this way
  • It is recommended and in some places is enforced to use Cloud Images instead of Local ones to save on hosting limits. You can use services like ImgBB, Imgur or any other Cloud provider to host your images
  • Unfortunately, you can't preview the Posts you create. The only way to see how things look is to publish a Post or to create and run a local environment (Advanced)
  • If you save a Post as a Draft, it will not be visible on the website
  • A blog post should always have a Category as it is a part of an URL. You can choose "No category", but it is still a Category, it just doesn't have any theme behind it
  • Tags are optional
  • Comments link is optional. If you don't specify it, the button will not appear

Categories and Tags

You will be able to choose from the Categories and Tags you create here, while creating or editing a Post. Consider this a way to filter and categorize the Posts you create.
