Unit Conversion
The plug-in can be configured to provide some data in units other than the default metric units. To change the units simply go to the plugin configuration and choose the units you desire under the "Data units" section. These options allow you to change the following:
- Temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
- Air pressure (millibars, inches of mercury, millimeters of mercury, kilopascals, or hectopascals)
- Wind speed (meters per second, miles per hour, kilometers per hour, or knots)
- Wind direction (degrees or cardinal direction)
- Rain amount (millimeters, centimeters, or inches)
- Distance (kilometers or miles)
Note that these unit conversions only apply to the parsed states returned by the plug-in. They are not applied to the raw results provided by states such as raw_data, raw_strike, etc. The raw states provide access to the data stream exactly as it is provided by your WeatherFlow device.
These conversions also do not apply to the Websocket Summary Data that is dynamically provided as variables. These variable names are subject to change without notice so the plug-in does not interact with them directly in any way other than to dynamically expose them as variables.
