Details

  • Test the DB for utf8 charset aliases
  • fix column_info on MariaDB since it doesn't have mysql_ vars anymore

Additional info

Test Plan

  1. Start with a database made with an older version of Bugzilla which is encoded in straight utf8
  2. Run checksetup.pl
  3. Ensure it converts to utf8mb4 properly, check utf8* params in data/params.json to verify values.
