gloop-manager is a key component of the Gloop freeware software suite, designed to centralize and simplify software deployment across Windows 10 and 11 workstations.
gloop-manager is a graphical administration interface that runs on the administrator's machine. It allows IT admin to manage the entire Gloop solution and coordinate software deployments on workstations running the companion tool gloop-client.
- Graphical user interface for managing software deployments
- Assign, update, or remove software packages from client machines
- Communicates directly with the Gloop server
- Designed for Windows 10 & 11 environments
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Access to a running Gloop server
gloop-managerconnects to the central Gloop server.- It retrieves the list of registered client machines and available software packages.
- Administrators can:
- Assign software to specific workstations
- Update or remove existing assignments
- Monitor deployment status and configurations
- The Gloop server then communicates with each client (
gloop-client) to apply the changes.
Simply run the provided installer on the administrator's workstation. Make sure it has network access to the Gloop server.
It is strongly recommended to use the same version of gloop-manager as the gloop-server container version. To update agents already installed on workstations, simply update the Gloop server. Clients will automatically download agent updates from the server.
- Fixed display issues with menus
- Fixed installer bug that was resetting the ini file even when preserving existing parameters was selected
- Numerous optimizations made to support deployment across much larger IT infrastructures
- Added expert mode allowing choice between graphical or text mode for package installation
- Added debug mode for troubleshooting
- Added ability to block automatic agent updates
- Added ability to perform installations during Windows login screen
- Added ability to schedule workstation shutdown
- Added ability to check agent versions installed on workstations and monitor automatic update processes
- Various bug fixes
- Initial public release
