NIMS is still under active development, but we have released a stable version that has been deployed at the CNI for over two years. The system has automated the capture, organization, and archiving of many terabytes of data, comprised of hundreds of millions of MR images.

You can see the data browsing features of NIMS in action with several public-domain datasets: http://cni.stanford.edu/nims/pub/browse
