You don't have messaging turned on so I guess this is the only way to contact you about this? I'm on Twitter as honestduane and would love to know why this lib is shutting down. If possible, I would like to save it, but I worry that I don't have the time with my other duties.

@duaneking I think GitHub lets you email individual users - <username>@users.noreply.github.com. Please try that with me. I do really wish GitHub had a DM system, as I do not use Twitter.

I am the current maintainer, but I don't have as much time as I once did to maintain this anymore. I'm happy to step down, or to have help from another maintainer, such as yourself.

Unfortunately I do not own this repository on GitHub or the PyPI project (I am merely a collaborator on each), otherwise I would add you to the project.

I have already emailed @coderholic regarding ending my maintainership and passing the torch to somebody else, but I haven't received a response yet. Until then, you can help me by triaging issues, and reviewing PRs. I will devote time to this project when I can. Thank you for your interest in taking over and/or helping me.

Hey @duaneking - it's not shutting down, it's just @blag doesn't have time to maintain it anymore. I've had a few different people reach out about maintaining it, so it should be in good hands again soon!

Glad to know this will carry on. I didn't feel I was the right person to maintain it solo as the choice of programming language I get to use professionally is up in the air at the moment as I'm between jobs and there are not a lot of python roles in my area, but I love python for my personal projects and this project is so useful that I didn't want to see it die.

I would be happy to contribute the odd bugfix etc, if you are open to it. But I don't want to overload my plate, either.

Thank you both for being so understanding and reasonable.
