Today I've updated my ReadME. It was all empty before so I put as much as possible in the file.
It was a bit of a chaotic day. But I made a todo list so I have a clear vision of the things that need to be done the coming days. Unfortunately I still nog have been able to practise with the survey data. I really want to exercise with the data but just don't make time for it. That's something I need to work on. Today I gave Ralf feedback on his project. In an github issue I described my opinion on his work.
Today I almost finished the freeCodeCamp about the basics of JavaScript. It took much longer than I thought, but I felt that I needed this knowledge first. Tomorrow I want to do some exercises with the survey data because that is a very good exercise for the case we're working on. I'm still behind on the concept of the case because I'm only focused on learning to code. Maybe it's better to focus on that part tomorrow so I can find out which way I will go with this project.
Today was a good day. The day started with a live coding lesson from Laurens which was very useful. In VizHub he wrote the code and I was trying to type the same code in my Notion. I wrote annotations next to it and information that helped me with understanding the code. The most important lesson is ordening of the code. It's very clear for other people who are watching your code that you put the functions at the bottom and call them at the top of your project. This way the viewer can dive into the code whether he wants it or not. Next I've been busy with exercises from freeCodeCamp. I've decided to start with "the basics of JavaScript" so I have a clear vision in the code and don't stuck on the basic elements. Much stuff is very logic, but it feels good to go back to the basics. When I'm finished with this course, I want to start with the course that is focused on working with data.

Today was not a very productive day. In the morning I followed the class from Danny about API's, sync and async. This was very difficult for me and hard to follow. At the begin of the afternoon, I had some problems with the studenthouse I'm living in, so that took all my time from the rest of the day.
Today was a really productive day on the aspect of practising. I've watched 4 video's of funFunFunction and really went into the code. I've documented the things I learned in the Code Training aspect. I did several exercises with simple code functions and tried to explain them.
Tomorrow I want to dive in the survey data and try to filter the code.
Today we started with a very nice live-coding lesson from Laurens. I learned really much from this college because the things Laurends told us were for the beginners.
A few things that I've learned:
- How to make a localhost on your mac (python)
- How to connect data to your JS file
- Functions can only have 1 return
After the college ended, I had a short call with Ralf Zonneveld who helped me with pushing and pulling with VSCode and GitHub. I didn't know that there was a terminal option in the program, so that was a really nice tip.
I haven't done very much practising on freeCodeCamp or something else, which is not very smart. Tomorrow I want to do some exercises on freeCodeCamp and also I'm a bit behind with the debriefing so I want to make tomorrow a productive day.
Fun Fun Function seems to be a nice way to practise with Functional Programming.
