Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16+ recommended)
• npm or yarn

Backend Setup

cd backend
npm install
npm start

Frontend Setup

cd my-react-app
npm install
npm run dev

Run Both Frontend & Backend Concurrently (Recommended)

From the root folder, you can run both servers together using concurrently:

npm install -g concurrently # if not already installed
npm install
npm run dev

This will start both the backend and frontend in development mode.

Environment Variables

• Create a .env file in both backend/ and my-react-app/ as needed for your configuration (e.g., database URI, API keys).
