The DICE Optimisation tool allows for designing public or private cloud clusters to support data intensive applications based on Hadoop, Spark or Storm technologies. Given the characteristics of the application at hand and a set of alternative deployments, D-SPACE4Cloud can determine the minimum cost configuration.
This repository contains the DICE Optimisation plugin, which is a component of the DICE Optimisation Tool, so we will first give an overview of the whole project and then we will see in more detail the Eclipse Plugin.
The other two components of the tool are the DICE Optimisation Front end and Back end and are linked in the "Related Projects" section of the sidebar.
