MIT Lab has forked the scratch fork https://github.com/mitmedialab/prg-raise-playground

Advantages of using this scratch version over the scratch foundation one:

  • custom UI element for input with svelte (i.e. custom 13x8 led matrix)
  • extension as a self-contained folder (with also package.json)
  • support tests for the extension
  • use typed language (ts)
  • include 3-party extension (e.g. Teachable Machine)

Add a Arduino basics extension
-"draw FRAME matrix"

  • "clear matrix"

TODO
Need to migrate the following blocks

  • switch on/off RGB leds
  • modulino button
