MAA Plug-in guide

You can now use ALAS to run MAA to play Arknights for you too. Not only does ALAS keep and use the features of MAA, but also complements it with the ALAS scheduler for precision scheduling, auto stage farm /sanity depletion and auto I.S. as well as Reclamation Algorithm.

MAA Installation

ALAS does not currently include the MAA packages, so you have to manually download and install MAA.

  1. Go to MAA's Release, download the latest MaaBundle-v*.*.*.zipzip-file and unpack it.

Integrating MAA in ALAS

  1. In ALAS go to the 'Manage' option on the left vertical bar, click it and create a new instance.

step1

  1. Configure its name to your liking.
  2. Select maa in the drop-down menu of 'Copy from existing config'

step2

  1. Now create this new instance by confirming it with the options below the drop-down.

step3 (Note ignore the German language, it will be in your operating system's language, you get the point.)

  1. Select the newly created instance and head to 'Tak.Maa.name'.

step4

  1. Fill in the required fields and drop-downs. Be aware that:

    • you need to make a 2nd emulator instance to run 2 games at the same time. Remember to pick the right emulator serial.
    • you assign the path where you unpacked the standalone version of MAA with its executable.
    • some drop-down options are still using Chinese instead of English.
    • some functions work better on the Chinese Arknights client and may not be fully optimized/enabled for global.
    • don't use the standalone MAA executable while using the MAA integration from ALAS.
  2. To use the copilot under Task.MaaCopilot.name, make sure to assign the path of MAA's native copilot resource folder to 'MaaCopilot.FileName.help'.

step5

(Usually, the same path as used in step 6 with the addition of '\resource\copilot')

Getting Started

The MAA integration is almost completely the same as the native standalone MAA, so go through each option to set it up properly and then just run it. Refer to their User guide on MAA's github for help with configuration.
