Installation

To run the Ecommerce project locally on your machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone <https://github.com/usaame19/ecommerce>
  2. Navigate to the project folder: cd ecommerce
  3. Open the index.html file in your web browser.

Usage

Products

The products are stored in JSON format in the products.json file. Each product entry includes details like name, description, price, and images.

Customers

Customer information is stored in the customers.json file. It includes data such as name, email, and address.

Creating a New Customer Account

The Ecommerce website allows users to create a new customer account. When a new account is created, the customer's information is stored locally using the browser's local storage. This allows the customer to log in and access their account in future visits.

Orders

Order details are maintained in the orders.json file. Each order contains information about the customer, products ordered, total cost, and order status.

Blogs

The website features informative blogs about various products. The blog data is available in the blogs.json file.
