To run VMLifter on your Windows PC, make sure your system meets these needs:
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 2 GHz or faster processor
- Minimum 500 MB free disk space
- Internet connection for download and updates
VMLifter helps by doing:

Follow these steps to get VMLifter up and running on your Windows PC. No programming skills are needed.

On the page that opens, look for the latest release or download area.

Find the Windows installer file, usually named something like
VMLifterSetup.exe. -
Click the file link to download the installer. The file size may vary around 50-100 MB.

Once downloaded, open the file by double-clicking it.

Follow the installer steps:
- Accept the license terms.
- Choose the installation folder or leave the default.
- Click “Install” and wait for the process to finish.

When installation ends, choose “Finish” to close the installer.

Find the VMLifter icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.

Double-click the icon to open the program.

On the main screen, you will see options to load files for analysis.

Use the “Open” button to select program files or data you want to study.
After opening VMLifter:
- The program runs an analysis based on the instructions it reads.
- You will see charts or diagrams showing how values move inside the program.
- Use the arrows or zoom controls to explore different parts.
- Tooltips explain what each part means when you hover the mouse.
You can save your analysis results by clicking “Save” under the File menu.
If VMLifter does not start:
- Make sure your Windows system meets the requirements.
- Check if the download file completed without errors.
- Restart your PC and try again.
- If there is an error message, note it to get help.
Inside VMLifter, you can set options to change how data is shown:
- Choose between light or dark themes for better visibility.
- Adjust the speed of animations in your diagrams.
