This repo contains notes from Erin Doyle's Develop Accessible Web Apps with React Notes.

These notes contain the same structure as the transcriptions, along with additional rewrites, links to resources, and personal takes on the lesson. Feel free to submit additions to these notes, but please don't remove anything (unless we messed up or misunderstood something).

Generally, there is one document for each lesson in the course. If there are related lessons, the notes will be in the same document.

Course Objective 💪

US census says about 20% of people self-identify as having a disability of some sort. Writing webpages with accessibility in mind is not only important; it's crucial.

This course will deal with the following issues:

How do you test your (React) application for a11y issues?
What tools should you be using?
Once you have identified the issues, how can you fix them?
