- This repo is intended to be used with the ISIC archive metadata (go to the link, filter the data to the data you want, and then click "Download as zip" -> "Metadata Only" )
- It's most useful when you need to download images onto a web server quickly (the script is parallelized) or without a browser (just copy the metadata file on to the server)
It's mostly meant for my personal use, but if you're interested in using it you'll need to do the following:
- Download the ISIC metadata off the above website, run the
python parse_metadata.py
script to combine all of the metadata into a single CSV file (you can see mine inmetadata.csv
) - Run
python build_dataset.py
to create a final dataset CSV (data.csv
) with a 60/40 benign malignant split - Finally from the location you want to download the images to run
python download_images.py
to download the images from the ISIC archive
Ask me if you have any questions :)
