JackFish is a multi-platform tool that is specifically designed for Automated Functional and Non-Functional Testing of Web / Win / Java (Swing and JavaFX) GUI applications. JackFish is written in Java and can be used on Windows, Linux, and MacOS systems.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
Minimum software and hardware system requirements for JackFish are:
- Processor speed: 2.1 GHz
- Memory: 2 GB
- Free disk space: 10 GB
- Java version: 1.8.0
- Operating system: Linux, Windows or MacOS 64-bit
The recommended screen resolution is 1920x1080.
Download the latest JackFish version and unpack the archive to your disk.
JackFish is launched by double-clicking on the run.but file (Windows) or on the run.sh file (Linux, MacOS), which can be found in the root folder of the application
