first release

Greetings,

This release marks the stable versions of serial, 1-D and 2-D parallel algorithms in the package that have been used for the experiments of my paper at https://arxiv.org/abs/1402.3010 . The paper is currently under review at IJPP journal.

It's a research release for high-performance computing research. This means that the sequential algorithms are supposed to be very efficient. I am hoping that ocaml hackers may help improve some of the inefficiencies they might detect in the code.
