This commit restructures the changelog from its previous reStructuredText format to Markdown. This change is aimed at improving compatibility with the standard Markdown-based changelog format utilized by the integration team at Exasol. By introducing a common Markdown/reStructuredText bridge for documentation and the changelog, this step lays the groundwork for a later compliance with our Markdown format/conventions itself.
