Some equation calculated with an analog computer generates curves (virtual object) in a 3-dimensional space (x, y, z). Normally you choose a top-view projection (x, y) or a front-view projection (x, z) or a side-view projection (x, z) to display on a single oscilloscope.
With two tube-oscilloscopes and some analog components a stereoscopic display can be build. With an isometric projection the 3-dimensional space (x, y, z) is projected into two 2-dimensional displays (x_display, y_display) – one for each eye and oscilloscope.
isometric projection is well known from technical drawings and is the easiest projection which can be implemented with analog electronic.
Best supplement for calculating fractals (e.g. attractors from Rössler, Lorenz, Aizawa, Chua).
