What is jotty·page

Jotty is simple, self-hosted app for your checklists and notes. It uses an extended version of GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) that includes standard syntax as well as several custom HTML tags for advanced formatting.

Everything is stored on your host machine, in your specified data folder, easy to maintain, backup and migrate across multiple notes app if needed. No databases are currently needed and there's no plan to add any in the future.

The vision

Keeping things simple will always be the goal, notes and checklist apps tend to bloat users with extremely complex features that often overwhelm them. The idea is to keep the interface, UI and feel as simple as they get, while still having advanced and powerful features.

Due to the nature of the project, some very advanced features may not be doable without third party implementation (currently not available)
